Adds upgrade recipes for many items (e.g. Wood chest -> Iron chest). Works with bobs and angels. Can be added to existing save.
Description
Upgrade your starter items instead of destroying them.
Description:
- Adds alternate recipes to upgrade base items to higher tier items
- Keeps the original recipes intact
- Mod support for bob's and angel's
- Migration supported (you can add it to an existing save)
Upgrade List:
- Vanilla
- Wooden chest → Iron chest → Steel chest
- Small electric pole → Medium electric pole upgrade
- Stone furnace → Steel furnace → Electric Furnace
- Burner mining drill → Electric mining drill
- Burner inserter → Inserter
- Pistol → Submachine gun
- Light armor → Heavy armor → Modular armor → Power armor → Power armor MK2
- Mods
- Stone wall → Re-inforced concrete wall
- Gate → Re-inforced concrete gate
- Locomotive → "Crawler" construction train locomotive
- Cargo wagon → "Crawler" construction train wagon
Inspiration:
- "Justderping" a user from Arumba's community wanted to be able to upgrade walls and this sparked the idea
- I used a similar mod (link below) and didn't like that it replaced the original recipes
