Helps prevent the game from becoming unwinnable or where progress is near-impossible due to having enemies grow faster than you can keep up. Clamps evolution factor based on your progress through the game, but does not otherwise modify how it behaves, leaving a mostly-vanilla behavior.

Manipulates biter evolution to prevent them from getting too far ahead of you, leading to potentially unrecoverable factories and saves.

Primary Features: Biter evolution now has several values which it cannot exceed until you have achieved a corresponding landmark progression.

Very occasionally if you have heavy logistic bot congestion a logistic bot will crash. This means logistic bots are best used for higher value items like engines or power poles, using them for low value items like ore and copper wire is OK but less resource efficient. The goal is not to stop the use of bots, but to provide a small incentive to use belts in some situations late-game.
