Miner Placement Aid

Highlight ore tiles when placing miners.

The highlighting only shows up when an extraction machine is in your cursor. Also activates for blueprints that contain extraction machines.

Automatically recognizes miners and resources that are added by mods.

No impact on performance while inactive, except for a small check when the item in your cursor changes.

configurability

You can change all options on the fly in mod options -> per-player settings.

You can change whether or not the highlight is drawn on ground level as well as the color scheme in the settings.

Limitations

• Due to technical limitations, the highlight can either be drawn on the ground level, which may be occluded by tall foliage or on top of everything, including the player.
• currently doesn't support multiplayer.

Since I have not played through all of the space-age expansion yet and I don't want to spoil myself, I've only added custom colors for the resources on early planets. Other resources are highlighted in a fallback color.
