• Start on the only landmass in a world of lava. Lava generates heat to counter the freezing temperatures.
• Alternative resource generation (growing rocks) that unlocks when the resource's original processing is unlocked.
• New smaller foundries (fire and ice) that process more than metallurgy recipes.
• New steam engines that output exhaust that can recycle back to water, for areas where water is scarce.
• New foundation that is restricted to lava.
