A light bot start with basic modular armour, a pair of roboports, a few bots, and equipment to power them. (Compatible with Factorio 2.1)

Description

Light Bot Start

You didn't crash land on an alien planet with nothing. Fortunately you had a few bots with you to help you get started.

Starting items

When you crash land into a new save, you find the following items ready to go:

A modular armour (worn, with equipment already installed)
A pair of MK1 personal roboports
Construction bots
Personal equipment batteries and solar panels filling the armour grid

Following additional items can be added if you turn them on in the startup settings:

Two stacks of cliff explosives
Two stacks of landfill
A car

Robot Attrition

Very occasionally if you have heavy logistic bot congestion a logistic bot will crash. This means logistic bots are best used for higher value items like engines or power poles, using them for low value items like ore and copper wire is OK but less resource efficient. The goal is not to stop the use of bots, but to provide a small incentive to use belts in some situations late-game.
