Simple Lamellar Armor

<h2>What does this mod do?</h2> <p>This mod lets you craft the previously uncraftable lamellae and their armour for iron, meteoric iron, and steel.</p> <h2>How?</h2> <p>You need a metal plate for each lamellae item, plus a chisel and hammer of the same metal or better. Each lamellae you craft will take 8 durability off each tool.</p> <h2>What's the armour like?</h2> <p>Same price as brigandine, slightly harder to craft, slightly less protective, but much easier to wear with fewer downsides.</p> <p>Quite a bit cheaper than chain, easier to craft, but also slightly worse.</p> <p>This armour breaks very quickly compared to plate and scale, but is cheap to repair, and is much less restricting to wear in day-to-day life.</p> <h2>Combat Overhaul compatible?</h2> <p>Nope! But you are free to make your own Combat Overhaul compatible version using my jsons and textures as a base. Please credit me in the mod description if you upload it to the mod DB.</p> <h2>What files does this add/change?</h2> <p>This mod adds three textures: one for each armor.</p> <p>It also adds recipes to create the lamellae, and craft and repair the armour.</p> <p>Finally, it patches armor.json to add Meteoric Iron to the lamellar armor pool (method: addmerge), and alters the stats (method: replace) of vanilla iron and steel armour (because they're worse than bronze chain in the vanilla config, probably due to not being touched for several versions).</p>
