<h1>Remake of <span style="color: #2880b9;" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><a style="color: #2880b9;" href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/altgliderimplementation" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><span style="color: #2880b9;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">Alternative Glider Implementation</span></a></span></h1> <h1><span style="color: #2880b9;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">Requires:</span></h1> <ul> <li><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/insanitylib"><span style="--darkreader-inline-color: var(--darkreader-text-2880b9, #54a5da);">InsanityLib</span></a>&nbsp;<strong>Optional since 1.0.3 (VS 1.22.x)</strong></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br />This is a simple mod with the objective of applying retro game design to the glider.</p> <p><br />This mod changes the following:</p> <ul> <li>Disables pitch affecting glide direction.</li> <li>Displays a new <em>Glide Power</em> bar when the glider is active, which can be hidden in the config file.</li> <li>While gliding: <ul> <li><em>Glide Power</em> increases forward speed and decreases downward speed.</li> <li>Holding the <strong>Walk forward</strong> key causes the player to <strong>dive</strong>. <ul> <li>While diving, the player's downward speed increases.</li> <li>Downward speed is converted to <em>Glide Power</em>, up to a set conversion threshold.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Holding the <strong>Walk backward</strong> key causes the player to <strong>brake</strong>. <ul> <li>While braking, <em>Glide Power,</em> forward speed and downward speed all rapidly decrease.</li> <li>Breaking with a large amount of forward speed causes <strong>lift</strong>.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Upon running the mod, config files will be generated in the AlternativeGliderImplementationReforged folder.<br /><em><strong>Note:</strong> alternate control scheme settings are in server config for synchronization reasons (I currently have no plans on dealing with this)</em></p>
