Boric Alchemy

What is alchemy? That depends on the time, date and the semantic scope you have in mind.
To me, however, alchemy is an inextinguishable tar that seeps between the cracks of everywhere it shouldn't be.
The kitchen, the basement, the roof, the axe, the soil.

What content you should expect

• Chemical Metallurgy
  You can use acids to turn crushed ores into salts.
  You can turn salts into metal bits via reductions, displacement, and electrolysis!
• Craftable & Farmable Chemical Resources
  Chemical resources like potash, regular salt, and saltpeter, as well as custom resources like sodium carbonate can be sustainably farmed fairly early in the game.
  Custom ores, cave wall deposits, sands, soil salt deposits, flowers, renewable anthills and geothermal vents also provide useful metals, salts, and minerals.
• Chemical Recipes for Base-Game Items
  Things like coloured glass, wallpapers, resin, custom and base-game gems, every kind of clay, cheaper bulk refractory brick recipes, custom picking brines, custom hide soaking liquids, artificial wax, synthetic dyes and solvent extractions of dyes from plants, synthetic fibres (usable for all the regular flax stuff) and more! 
• Impractical weapons
  The hand mortar, a powerful 4-shot chemical powered gun.
  A capacitor spear, a rechargable high-knockback AOE melee weapon.
  Throwable bombs.
  Flamethrower
  Placable gas weapons
• Foods and Food Preservation
  Dry your milk, cure your meats in specially formulated salts!
  Extract sugar from birch and maple sap - use it instead of honey in meals and jams.
  Make alcohol and vinegar out of your sugar.
  Make ice-cream
  Make preservative-loaded banan bread purely with chemicals, make chemical candies, turn bones into chemically flavoured, slicable jellies.
• Drugs
  Make so many drugs and medicines, like speed for example!
• Explosives
  Sooo many explosives, tnt, nitrocellulose, picric acid, acetone peroxide - wet sodium!
• Decor and Atmospheric Stuff
  Blackboards, custom paintings.
  Coloured oil lamps, and upgraded coloured oil lamps for those who want them brighter.
  Coloured wind-up lights coloured with different gasses.
  Posters
  Glow-in-the-dark zinc sulfide decals (including stars)
