Chiseled Ground Placement

<h3>Description</h3> <p>You can chisel everything in your house, but not floors. If you want to place stuff on it, the floor needs to have full-height blocks. This mod aims to fix that. It allows for items to be placed on chiseled blocks no matter their height(provided they are flat). Similar to <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/38090">Place on slabs</a>, but for arbitrary chiseled blocks instead.</p> <p>The supported items are too many to list, but I tried to be thorough. I probably missed some, so let me know! The highlights:</p> <ul> <li>piles</li> <li>storage containers</li> <li>firepits</li> <li>torches/lanterns</li> <li>multiblocks like trunks and beds</li> <li>modded items should also work, but if not, let me know and I'll add support!&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Explicitly not supported:</p> <ul> <li>Doors: it would leave empty space above it that can't be filled in. This is a harder problem that I might revisit in the future</li> <li>Mechanical items: The entire mechanical system would have to be offset by the same amount for it to make visual sense. I don't plan on supporting this.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>It also works upside-down for items like lanterns that can be ceiling-mounted!</p> <p>Is this a replacement for Place on slabs? No, in fact it does not support slabs, only chiseled blocks. So it's more of a complementary mod.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Note: this is a visual/collision offset. Logically, the item is still placed on the air block on top of the block, meaning nothing else can be put there.</p> <h3>Safe to add/remove to ongoing saves?</h3> <p>Yes, things will just float in mid-air if removed</p> <h3>You may also like my other chiseling mods!</h3> <p><br /><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/densegroundstorage"><strong>Dense ground storage</strong></a>: Allows placement of small things, like pots and bowls, inside chiseled blocks. On the surface it looks similar to this mod, but that one is different in a way that one block can have many items, and this one is basically a vertical offset.<br /><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/chiseledwallmounting"><strong>Chiseled Wall Mounting</strong></a>: Same idea as this one, but for wall-mounted things<br /><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/betterinsulation"><strong>Better insulation</strong></a>: Makes the logic for determining if a chiseled block is insulating, so chiseled windows become possible</p>
