<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">Simple mod which will remove all starting gear from characters, for those hardcore gamers.</span></h3> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Based on Naked and Afraid by Maamessu <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/nakedafraid">Naked (and Afraid) - Vintage Story Mod DB</a>, this is an updated lightweight mod which simply removes all starting gear from characters.&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <h3><strong>Compatibility</strong></h3> <hr /> <ul> <li style="font-size: 15px; font-weight: 400;">Made to patch out any and all starting gear/clothes from any classes, no matter what custom classes (as long as its less than 20) have been added. This ensures that there is no need for a compatibility patch for every possible class mod.</li> <li style="font-size: 15px; font-weight: 400;">As long as a mod does not touch starting gear, this should work no issues.</li> </ul> <div class="spoiler"> <div class="spoiler-toggle">Error Messages</div> <div class="spoiler-text"> <p>When loading a world that contains less then 20 classes you may see errors such as this...</p> <h5>25.1.2025 14:59:52 [Error] Patch 19 (target: game:config/characterclasses.json) in game:patches/nakedclasses.json failed because supplied path /19/gear is invalid: The json path /19/gear was not found. No such element '19' at the root path</h5> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is due to the way the compatibility has been implemented in this mod, if you are generating a world with less than 20 classes you will see errors concerning the difference. In the above example it shows a world which has 19 classes loaded, which mean the 20th class was not found and thus was not modified.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This will have no impact on your worlds or classes in game. If there is not a class for this mod to modify than it has no impact.
