<h1>Divine Ascension</h1> <p>A religion, progression, and diplomacy mod for Vintage Story. Two Craft religions might worship "Khoras the Eternal Smith" and "Vulcan of the Forge" &mdash; same bonuses, different identity. v5.0 adds optional <strong>motto</strong> and <strong>founding myth</strong> flavor text for the founder to set.</p> <h2>Dual Progression</h2> <p><strong>Personal (Favor)</strong> &mdash; Your individual power</p> <ul> <li>Earned through gameplay across <strong>all five domains simultaneously</strong>; +0.5/hour passive generation into your patron deity</li> <li>Ranks: Initiate &rarr; Disciple &rarr; Zealot &rarr; Champion &rarr; Avatar</li> <li>Unlocks personal blessings that boost your stats</li> </ul> <p><strong>Community (Prestige)</strong> &mdash; Your religion's collective strength</p> <ul> <li>Shared across all members based on group activity</li> <li>Ranks: Fledgling &rarr; Established &rarr; Renowned &rarr; Legendary &rarr; Mythic</li> <li>Unlocks religion-wide blessings benefiting everyone</li> <li>Required for high-tier diplomacy (alliances need "Renowned" rank)</li> <li>Determines how many <strong>active blessing slots</strong> the religion can carry at once (new in v5.0)</li> </ul> <p>This means you progress even offline and benefit from your community's work.</p> <h2>Blessings</h2> <p>Permanent stat upgrades arranged in branching trees. Unlock them by spending favor (personal) or prestige (religion-wide).</p> <p>Examples:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Craftsman's Touch</strong> &mdash; +10% tool durability, +10% ore yield</li> <li><strong>Master Forager</strong> &mdash; +20% forage drops, 15% slower spoilage</li> <li><strong>Divine Kitchen</strong> &mdash; +35% cooking yield, +25% food satiety</li> </ul> <p>Browse the blessing tree in-game in v5.0's <strong>parchment-and-wax-seal</strong> layout &mdash; branch swimlanes, double-click to inscribe, hover for details. Both personal and religion-level blessings can now be <strong>struck</strong> (unlearned) with refunds.</p> <h2>Holy Sites</h2> <p><em>This feature requires claims to be toggled on.</em></p> <p>Consecrate sacred ground by placing altars in claimed territory. Holy sites amplify your connection to your deity:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Prayer system</strong> &mdash; Offer domain-specific items at altars for boosted favor and prestige</li> <li><strong>Tier multipliers</strong> &mdash; Shrines (2&times;), Temples (2.5&times;), Cathedrals (3&times;) prayer rewards</li> <li><strong>Automatic consecration</strong> &mdash; Place an altar in claimed land to create a holy site; destroy it to deconsecrate</li> <li><strong>Waypoint marking</strong> &mdash; Track and navigate to your religion's sacred locations</li> </ul> <h2>Rituals</h2> <p><em>This feature requires claims to be toggled on.</em></p> <p>Upgrade holy sites from Shrine &rarr; Temple &rarr; Cathedral through collaborative multi-step rituals:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Discovery mechanic</strong> &mdash; Ritual steps start hidden ("???") and reveal when you offer matching items</li> <li><strong>Collaborative completion</strong> &mdash; Multiple players can contribute offerings to the same ritual</li> <li><strong>Domain-specific paths</strong> &mdash; Each domain has unique rituals with thematic requirements</li> </ul> <h2>Civilizations &amp; Diplomacy</h2> <p>Established religions can ally into civilizations (1&ndash;4 religions, each with a different domain).
