All of this, of course, is now lost to time.
What remains are a few forgotten scrolls, passed down through generations scarred by hardship and suffering, now left to rot on dust-choked shelves and in the deepest shadows of abandoned strongholds.
Only a handful of these schematics survived the devastating scourge of rot, scattered across the broken world — waiting to be unearthed, claimed, and brought back to glory!

Introduction

This series of mods aims to introduce historically inspired armor into the game. This entry is dedicated to the Varangian style and uses the shared Forgotten Armory:Core progression and decoration systems.

Varangian armor is unlocked through armor schematics recovered from the world. These schematics can be found in newly generated ruins or obtained from the Treasure Trader after his stock refreshes. Before they can be used, dusty armor scrolls must first be decoded using the appropriate Forgotten Armory workstation. Once unlocked, the armor can be crafted and further customized through the shared Core systems.
