<p>Hi hey ;)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>After few years of playing Vintage Story I've noticed, that theres missing such important thing, or creators didn't focused on that yet so I did. Theres clockmaker class, clockmaker glasses, gears everywhere even on the sky during temporal storms, bu theres totally no way to play with gears. Maybe some fun with mills, but for me it's not enough. So I decided to recreate watchmaker mechanics from my concept game/simulator into the Vintage Story directly and this is the result. You cave 3 levels of gears on each mechanism board (thats why there are only 3 hands available at max. but you can make 2 or 1 if you need, it's all up to you). Balance wheel is still not polished yet as well as escapement wheel. To make a custom clock face, to need to sculpt a block, then take it to your sexy hand and right click on a mechanism board that doesnt have any clock face installed yet. To get it back... well to get everything back, just hold CTRL + aim on it + RMB (Right Mouse Button). I probably left some outdated hints, cause I'm working on this mod for a while, but I'm already too sleepy to change that, that's why I'm writing this manual :).&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Works well in survival. Ohh and to craft mechanism board, just put four wood plank blocks (any) in a shape of square. I think the rest is pretty obvious + theres video ;). I still got so many ideas for this mod, and its definitely not even alpha, but you know I need to sleep ;D, so have fun. (Some interactions can work strange when the mechanism board is installed on a wall - like aiming on it to adjust things - so the best way is to break it (in survival), get it and put it on the floor while you working on it, then when its finished, install it on the wall). When clock face is installed, no interactions are available with mechanism, you need to take out the clock face, then you can wind up the cloch or modify it. If clock hands has not nice looking offset and they are too high or low, you should make a presto tool in Gear cutter (requires iron bar, not brass). Then with presto RMB on a clock will adjust clock hands height.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Clockmaker glasses now has it's functionality - they show you colored layers of your cogwheels mechanisms so it's easier to design mechanisms.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Have fun!
