<h2 style="text-align: center;">Haz's Jackalopes</h2> <p style="text-align: center;">The <a title="fearsome critters wikipedia page" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fearsome_critters" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fearsome critter</a> cryptid of American folklore: <a title="Jackalope wikipedia page" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackalope" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jackalopes</a>!</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Distant cousin of the <a title="Wolpertinger wikipedia page" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolpertinger" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wolpertinger</a> found in German folklore.</p> <p style="text-align: center;">These rare hare variants spawn less than regular hares, though live in a wider variety of climates.</p> <p style="text-align: center;">They offer the usual carves, with the loot addition of antlers in both male and female variants.</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Do note that unlike other hares, they do have a chance to fight back when hurt, similar to a deer.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>This is my third mod and is meant to familiarize myself with entity creation, and json patching. As I challenged myself to make this almost entirely with just json patches.</p> <p>This was a bit difficult, if only because I kept it to json patches. For future entity mods of a similar nature, I won't limit myself to just json patches, but now I've a good grasp of their benefits and limitations.</p> <p> </p> <p>Version 0.9.1 is compatable with the <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/harepet">HarePet</a> mod. (Note: To avoid conflicts with HarePet, I've made the compatability with PetAI dependant on HarePet in order to avoid overlapping patches, since Jackalopes are a variant of hares.)</p> <p>Keyword: Animal Cryptid Fearsome Critter</p> <div id="audd-recorder-marker" style="display: none;"> </div>
