Useful Licorice

<p>A simple mod adding some culinary uses for licorice root. My boyfriend really likes the stuff, so what can a man do, eh?<br /><br /><strong>This mod adds the following:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Licorice root may be used as an ingredient in jams and porridges, adding some (non-nutritional) satiety and healing to the meals;</li> <li>Licorice root may be cooked with water (or simmered with EF) to obtain <em>licorice extract</em>. This extract may be used in meals to gain more satiety and healing from licorice;</li> <li>Licorice extract and honey can be cooked in a pot to make <em>licorice candy</em>. This candy can be salted, either during cooking or after in the crafting grid.</li> <li>Licorice root may be sealed in a barrel with any distilled beverage to make <em>licorice liqueur</em>, which is somewhat more satiating as well as healing.</li> <li><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/expandedfoods">Expanded Foods</a> - licorice syrup, gelatin, and yogurt may be made and used in cooking, whilst recipes for candies and extract are changed to EF's own cooking processes. Licorice root and extract can be used in the <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/efmealsmodule">Meals Module</a> recipes. <span style="color: #ba372a;">(May not be compatible with the most recent releases of EF - Core dev12 and Expanded Meals dev5 were the versions at the time of this compat being made)</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>That is all.<br /><br />I would be open to suggestions, though this is entirely a side-project and likely wont be expanded much. Feel free to take it and run with the idea, if you'd like.<br /><br /><span style="color: #7e8c8d;"><em>I strongly suspect it'll be entirely unnecessary in time, anyways - I can't imagine licorice will remain so pointless for so long.</em></span></p>
