Meteoric Iron Is Beautiful

<p><strong>This mod changes the texture of meteoric iron to resemble real life iron meteorites.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The vanilla textures depict a rare type of meteorite called <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pallasite" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pallasites</a>, the yellow dots are olivine crystals that are embedded in the metal. But the rest of the texture does not look metallic, or meteoric, it looks more like pearl or plastic than iron. This mod changes it to show the iconic <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Widmanst%C3%A4tten_pattern" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Widmanst&auml;tten pattern</a>, where the metal forms crystals that intersect at particular angles, because iron meteorites solidify from a molten mixture of iron and nickel over an incredibly long time.</p> <p><img src="https://images2.imgbox.com/28/27/qSClqlJc_o.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="338" /></p> <p><img src="https://images2.imgbox.com/7d/86/y905PLp2_o.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="900" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>v1.3.0</strong> - Removed meteoric iron amulet item.
