Palantir

<p><em>(Not affiliated with the evil company Palantir.)</em></p> <p><br />Create a Palantir, as cavemen did: hammer a temporal gear into a chunk of quartz, hold it there with a bone, and trace a rune in your own blood.</p> <p><strong>Recording locations</strong><br />Carry the Palantir with you. When you reach a place worth remembering, place it on the ground and right-click &mdash; your position is saved. Repeat anywhere you like.</p> <p><strong>Sharing the visions</strong><br />Place the Palantir down, eat some shrooms, and right-click it while tripping. Your spirit drifts, ghost-like, through each saved location for 15 seconds at a time &mdash; long enough for the chunks to load and to look around in flight. You can't touch anything, but you can still die out there. Beware.</p> <p><strong>Wiping the memory</strong><br />Rub the Palantir with a piece of linen for 10 seconds. Every saved waypoint is erased and the stone is ready to be reused.</p> <p><strong>Bear vision</strong><br />- Wear a bear-hide helmet<br />- Hold a bone in your main hand<br />- Eat shrooms<br />- Use a Palantir</p> <p>If there is a live bear in the nearby loaded chunks, you will see through its eyes for 30 seconds. Commune with the beast.
