Smash Metal Parts

<h2>What do?</h2> <p>This teeny recipe mod lets you smash metal &amp; Jonas parts into cupronickel bits as an alternative to needing to find nickel!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Hammer</em>: 5 cupronickel bits per 1 metal/Jonas part (4 parts=1 ingot)</p> <p><em>Pulverizer</em>: 8 cupronickel bits per 1 metal/Jonas part (10 parts=8 ingots, best for stacks, or mods that use lots of bits!)</p> <p>^{<em>Balancing was in respect to Treasure Traders always selling metal parts in groups of 4!</em>}</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What want (suggested mods)?</strong></p> <p><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/cuprolamp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cupronickel Lanterns</a>&nbsp;(so all those crushed parts can light up your home!)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>How do?</strong></p> <p>Place your parts in the crafting grid, then a hammer just above it, and get smashin'! Or, grind them up a lil' more thoroughly in your pulverizer for better output.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why do?</strong></p> <p>I liked Matter Expanded's method of pulverizing metal parts to dust, but felt it was a lil' bit cheesey (thanks to the dust having a lower melting point than cupronickel itself), and wanted something that <em>just</em> made parts a bit more useful. Cupronickel isn't used for a lot in vanilla, so this mod is mostly complimentary to <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/chiseltools" target="_blank" rel="noopener">QP Chisel Tools</a> needing it for Jonas Palettes.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Plan to do (<em>job's done!</em>)?</strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: line-through;">I'm actually looking into how to make a pulverizer output for this as well - maybe for a slightly higher return of bits, versus so crudely beating them with a hammer.</span></p> <p>^{<em>That was- surprisingly easy, thanks to suavedoggo on Discord for helping me find where the target path was!</em>}</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: line-through;">And I <em>may</em> think about integrating a Cupronickel Lights addon so there's more use for it.. <em>if I can figure out custom lanterns</em>. 😭</span></p> <p>_{<em>Hooray for L A M P</em>}</p> <h3>AAAH!
