Stepstools

<p>Are you a small kobold, who has troubles with tables, anvils, and other items made for taller people? Tired of chiseling your own stepstools so you can see on top of things and having to copy them around? Then this mod is for you!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This mod adds a stepstool that comes in two varieties: simple and padded. Simple stepstools can be crafted with any two types of wood, while padded stepstools are crafted with one type of wood and cloth. The type of wood and cloth determine their appearance. They also require boards and a saw, making them only craftable once you reach the copper age.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Stepstools can be placed like any other block, but can be easily picked up with a right click with an empty hand. The upper step is a half-block tall, allowing them to be stepped onto easily.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Not a requirement, but this was made with <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/playermodellib">Player Model Lib</a> in mind, for players with their model size set small. If you have a normal seraph stature, you might not get much out of this.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Known Issues</strong></p> <ul> <li>The top half of stepladders can't be highlighted/interacted with, and you can place blocks on them. I think the fix would require custom code, due to how Vintage Story handles multiblocks, so this issue will probably not be fixed</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Possible Future Ideas</strong></p> <ul> <li>Crude stepstool, crafted with a log, sticks, and an axe</li> <li>Metal stepstools, for when you're feeling decadent (gem encrusted variety?)</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: line-through;">Taller stepstools - one and a half blocks tall, and two blocks tall</span></li> <li>A recipe to turn a simple stepstool into a padded one (couldn't figure out how to do this)</li> </ul>
