XSkills

XSkills is an implementation for skills and abilities that uses XLib . You gather experience for different skills by doing certain actions. And if you have collected enough experience  you will get an additional ability point that you can use to increase the tier of an ability. Here is a list of which weapon type currently benefits from which ability:

Sword, Club, Mace, Warhammer: Swordsman

Spear, Javelin, Pike, Poleaxe, Halberd, Polearm, Staff: Spearman

Bow, Sling, Crossbow, Firearm: Archer

Knife, Pickaxe, Chisel, Saw, Axe, Hammer, Wrench, Hoe, Sickle, Scythe, Rolling Pin: Tool Mastery
