Description
Hello everyone. This mod is heavily inspired by a previous mod, Fishing Unplugged. The other mod has lost some features over time. It is also released as a .dll, and isn't customizable at all. So I built this from scratch for my own server, Sunset Isle.
This mod is being released as .cs files so that people can modify it further as they see fit, and to help work around any potential mod conflicts.
This mod brings Fishing Reloaded as a specialty to the Hunter class. It is meant to be the fishing counterpart to Butchery, and has many recipes for different types of fish. It also brings a number of very balanced food items to each cooking profession. These food items are not OP, and perfectly in line with their base game counterparts. With the Aquatic Pond, the person who has Fishing Reloaded can also raise fish for their own purposes. These ponds do not have modules, as there isn't much you can do to speed up nature. But, they don't have any negative or industrial modifier or room requirement.
This mod also has optional files. In the optional files, it adds a new item that comes with butchering carcasses with butchery, called Animal Waste. This animal waste can be used in a couple new fish food recipes, or butchers can use it in a new meat stock recipe. Animal waste can also be used in a new fertilizer, called Balanced Fertilizer. To do this, it has to override: -ButcherBison -ButcherMediumAnimal -ButcherMediumWoolyAnimal -ButcherSmallAnimal
Like some of my pervious mods, this gives a few more leather hide/shorn wools, but doesn't change the amount of raw meat given. If using this with Butcher Balance, use these overrides.
Also, in the optional files there is a recipe for FakeTuna. It seems most of the time there is a shortage of Tuna caught so this allows the fishing reloaded person to use shark to make tuna fillets, but also requires Milk. Milk isn't currently in game, but my other popular mod @animal-husbandry brings this function if it interests you.
Changelog: v1.1 works with Custom Foods Overhaul and the Mixology mod. V1.11 added Tuna and Shark breeding to the optional files.
This mod is best coupled with https://mod.io/g/eco/m/jumbo-fishtrap-crabpot
The Pond.cs has commented out lines (59 and 114) to enable the Fishing module if you want. Remove the // to enable.
Installation: Put the FishingReloaded folder into the Usercode folder. If choosing to install the Optional files: Put the contents of the optional folder into the Usercode folder.
