Alpine Story

<p>This mod rewrites a part of the world generation to immerge you in an alpine scenery.</p> <p><br />What should you expect from this mod:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Mountains!</strong></li> <li>Endless mountains, you won't get to another biome by walking away.</li> <li>For a better immersion, the top layer is always made of granite. For a full Vintage Story experience, you will find a layer of other rocks below the surface.</li> <li>The way the world generation is done breaks the halite vanilla spawn, so don't trust the prospecting pickaxe about it. You will instead find halite pillars by visiting caves.</li> <li>You can play around with the global forestation if you need more forests.</li> <li>The Mountain size is scaled along the X and Z axis with the world height. I wouldn't recommend going above 300 to avoid artifacts.</li> <li>A full experience with this mod starts at a render distance beyond 600 blocs (sorry potato guys 😕).</li> <li>This mod may silence many other mods that change the world gen parameters.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Using this mod with an old world will make weird things/break it. Make a new one!</strong></p> <p>Known issues:</p> <ul> <li>Rivers are drunk.</li> <li>Weird white pixels on map on rivers.</li> </ul> <p>Last mod version works on 1.20.x version of the game, don't mind DM me on Discord to get an update of the mod.</p> <p><br />Have fun 🙂</p>
