Brick and Shingles Mold

Do you hate making shingles by hand? Would you like a more immersive fast way of crafting bricks?

Well I do, so I made this.

The idea originally comes from Jozhin_z_bazhin for the Toolsplus mod so big thanks to them.

Both molds can be made with any wood, mix and match freely, see the handbook for recipes.

User guide:

Brick mold: Simply place it on the ground and interact with either red, blue or fire clay in your hand. 3 clay makes a brick.

Interact with another item or an empty hand to remove the brick/clay. If the mold is empty you will pick it up.

Refractory bricks are made with the vanilla recipe, however, that makes refractory mix that needs to be formed in the brick mold just like all other clays.

Shingle form: Works similarly to the brick mold with an added caveat. When the form is full, interact with any wooden board in your hand to smooth the clay into shingles.

Clay to shingle ratio is 1:2 instead of vanilla 1:3, however the vanilla ratio is avaliable by clayforming by hand as per usual.

 

New in latest update:

• The shingle form has a new model and now works in world!
• Molds are storable on shelves
• Bricklayers compatibility temporarily dropped as I don't personally use the mod for now

 

When updating existing saves, old molds will become an invalid object. Simply break and despawn the item and craft a new one.
