Grow, dry, cure, and enjoy. Grassroots adds cannabis cultivation for sativa and indica plants.

Four strains with their own climate zone and effects when smoked. Find them growing in the wild and gather seeds to farm.

The cultivation process has three optional steps that improve the quality of your crop. What you use to enjoy will improve the duration.

Hemp production allows hemp stalks to be broken down into fibers or hurd. Fibers can replace most linen/cloth counterparts and hurd can be made into building materials.

Wild Strains

<span style="color: #5a8a3c;">Hindu Kush</span> - Found in temperate forests and grasslands. Tolerates cold well. A reliable strain for most climates.

<span style="color: #c0392b;">Red Congo</span> - Found in hot, wet jungle and rainforest climates. Needs warmth and moisture.

<span style="color: #2980b9;">Mazar-i-Sharif</span> - Found in cold mountain regions and dry upland terrain. Thrives in odd places.

<span style="color: #d4a017;">Acapulco Gold</span> - Found in hot, arid desert and savanna regions with little rainfall.

Quality

There are four quality levels. Getting to Dank takes effort: nutrition during growth, drying, and curing. All steps are optional.

Enjoying

Roll a joint, pack a pipe, or rip a bong!

Enjoying your crop gives a buff. The effect depends on the strain. Potency scales with quality. Duration scales with smoking device.

Joints are rolled from parchment and buds in the grid, ready for use w/ hold right click.

Pipes are made and fired from clay, put bud in off-hand with pipe in main hand and press shift+Rclick to pack. Packed pipe can be used on torch/oil lamp to light. Wear pipe and hold 'R' key on keyboard to smoke!

Bongs are made and fired from clay from a bowl, body, and stem then combined in grid, same packing process as pipes, use bong on torch/oil lamp to light, but hold right click to enjoy.

Bong parts are mix-and-match so you can build your own bong from the 3 pieces!

In-game HUD will display buffs and timer. CTRL+G to toggle HUD off/on.
