<h2>What does this mod do?</h2> <p>This mod adds three forageable plants and their associated foods.</p> <p><strong>Chicory</strong> is a hardy, pale blue flower that can survive just about anywhere, but sometimes takes two years to mature. Its roots are long and brown and make good puree and soups. It's more common in open areas, but its temperature resistance means it can be found from beaches to mountaintops.</p> <p><strong>Sunchoke</strong>, or Jerusalem Artichoke, is not an artichoke and it is not from Jerusalem. It is a tall yellow-orange flower that appears in clumps and produces small tubers. It is very prolific and easy to cultivate, though not as filling as other forage. Like chicory, you're more likely to find it in open areas.</p> <p><strong>Ube,</strong>&nbsp;or purple yam, is a tuber that loves hot and humid climates. It is easily recognised by its bright purple roots and delicate purple flowers. It's very filling for a wild plant, and has a lovely sweet and starchy flavour.</p> <p>All three count as vegetables for the purpose of meals. They are suitable for pies but not for pickling.</p> <p>You can also craft decorative versions of all three of these plants.</p> <h2>Why version 0.5?</h2> <p>Because I haven't added meal compatibility with Expanded Foods, and I haven't added Chicory Coffee.</p> <h2>Details</h2> <p>This mod is safe to add to existing worlds, but you will not find the plants until you explore new chunks. Each plant has a 1/20 chance per chunk of generating in groups if the location has a suitable temperature and climate.</p> <p>The roots need to be dug up to harvest them! You <strong>cannot</strong> just hold right click to harvest these plants. In exchange, harvesting chicory and ube has a 1/20 chance of granting you an extra seed tuber, and sunchoke has a 25% chance of doing so.</p> <p>This mod is compatible with world gen mods, including Biomes.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Licensed under CC-BY 4.0</p>
