Plain Potash Process

<p>Adds a plain and realistic enough way with no bells and whistles to get potash from wood.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Potash can now be made by smelting wood in a firepit (Due to game limitations, you have to fuel the firewood for it to smelt into ash!), adding the ashes into water, and boiling the resulting mixture in a pot. In total, you get 2 potash for every 32 wood and 16L of water. Additionally, the wood ash can be used as fertilizer directly, although with only 1% Phosphorus (P) content and 3% Potassium (K) content.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>1 firewood or 6 sticks for 1 ash (Firepit)</p> <p>1L of water and 2 ash for 1L ash solution (Barrel)</p> <p>8L of ash solution for 1 potash (Cooking Pot)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I recommend using this mod with my other mod, <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/simplesaltpetresolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Simple Saltpetre Solution</a>, which makes use of potash for making saltpetre.</p> <p>If you want more wood blocks to be smeltable into ash, try out <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/45915" target="_blank" rel="noopener">More Wood Plain Potash Process Patch</a>!</p>
