<p>This mod tweaks some crafting recipes for Vintage Story to be more realistic and immersive.</p> <p>It was created for the<strong> Tels &amp; Friends private server</strong>, but can be used by anyone. If you do have more ideas, please let us know, we love feedback 💞</p> <h2><span style="color: #169179;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">New Crafting Abilities</span></h2> <h3>Aging oak</h3> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Craft aged oak boards and logs by putting oak boards and logs into a barrel with strong tanning.</p> <ul> <li>A log requires 50 L and uses 20 L of strong tannin</li> <li>A debarked log requires 50 L and uses 15 L of strong tannin</li> <li>Boards use 1 L per board (essentially 12 L per oak log)</li> </ul> <h3>Rusty iron trapdoors</h3> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You can also craft rusty iron trapdoors, which are otherwise unavailable in vanilla VS.</p> <h2><span style="color: #e67e23;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">Crafting Recipe Changes</span></h2> <p>To do so, it adds additional ingredients and tools to the recipes. Here are some examples:</p> <h3>Wood &amp; Metal</h3> <ol> <li><strong>Barrels, buckets</strong> and <strong>troughs</strong> need nails and strips and a hammer</li> <li><strong>Solid wood doors</strong> need nails and strips and a hammer</li> <li><strong>Iron doors</strong> and iron trap doors need nails and strips and a hammer</li> <li><strong>Metal plaques</strong> and <strong>brass torch holders</strong> need a hammer</li> <li><strong>Helve hammers</strong> need matching metal nails and strips and a hammer</li> </ol> <h3>Forging</h3> <ol> <li><strong>Bloomeries</strong> use a piece of clay to seal the bricks together</li> <li><strong>Forges</strong> need (hard) small stones and clay instead of cobble blocks</li> </ol> <h3>Tools &amp; Items</h3> <ol> <li><strong>Saws </strong>need an additional stick and twine</li> <li><strong>Lanterns </strong>need hammer and saw</li> </ol> <h3>Compatibility With Other Mods</h3> <p>This mod is compatible with these mods, meaning that recipes from these mods are also tweaked to match the new recipes:</p> <ul> <li><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/wildcrafttree" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wildcraft: Trees and Shrubs</a></li> <li><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/primitivesurvival" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Primitive Survival</a></li> <li><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/foodshelves" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Food Shelves</a></li> <li><a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/wool" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wool &amp; More</a></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You can also craft rusty iron trapdoors, which are otherwise unavailable in VS.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We hope you like our work,</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>~Tels &amp; Phiwa 🧡</p>
