WOO Fantasy Additions

WOO Fantasy Additions adds:

• 15 new metals with unconventional crafting systems. Create Blood Bronze by soaking ingots in the cursed blood of Vampire Willows, or use the remains of ancient dragons to forge Dragonsteel!
• 19 types of weapons from the base game's existing unimplemented shapes, that can be forged with the new materials as well as vanilla ones (including titanium)
• Dozens of reagents: Essence of Rot, Motes of Hate, and other, weirder materials
• New trees and landscape blocks
• Questgiving entities, such as talking goats
• New friendly and hostile entities

 

WOO Fantasy is designed specifically for the Whispers of Oldwood server, and may change dramatically depending on how the story progresses.

 

Solo Play

While partially playable on solo games, WOO Fantasy Additions is not balanced for solo play and not recommended.

Ongoing Support:

• Changes in material availability depending on player actions in the Whispers of Oldwood server
• Additional entities, including questgivers and more challenging creatures to fight
• Legendary named weapons with unique effects

 

Future Development Plans:

• More unique crafting processes
• Implementing magic effects for different materials
• Simple magic
• Moving from a physical knowledge item to an acquired trait system

 

Compatibility:

• Toolsmith: Fully compatible with Toolsmith
• Other metal mods: Depending on how they're implemented, other metal mods may not play nice with WOO Fantasy Additions. WOO FA weapons will automatically pull from the list of available metals, but smithing recipes and stats would need to be patched in
• Expanded Foods: Foods added by WOO Fantasy Additions are not currently compatible with EF
• Wildcraft: There's a known crash when WOO FA is combined with both Wildcraft Trees and Wildcraft Fruit. For now these are considered incompatible.
• Other mods: Any mod that uses tools in crafting recipes will only be compatible if those recipes use the Vintage Story tag system
