Zippy's Cattail Stew

<p><strong>Allow cattail, tule, and papyrus roots to be used in stews, soups, porridge and other dishes.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Has it ever bothered you that you can put a cattail root on a stick and roast it over an open fire, but you aren't allowed to put it in a pot and boil it? It has certainly bothered me, which is why I made this little mod.<br /><br /><strong>How it works</strong><br /><br />Place cattail, tule, or papyrus roots in the crafting grid with a knife to obtain "Peeled reedroot".<br /><br />Peeled reedroot can be eaten raw for 50 sat, so if you are stuck somewhere with no other options and no time to build a fire, you can use them to stave off starvation.<br /><br />Peeled reedroot can be used in stews, soups, porridges and scrambled eggs just like any other vegetable, but they cannot be put in pies.</p> <h3><strong>Important!</strong></h3> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>There is an error in version 1.0.0 of this mod that will crash your game whenever a piece of rotting reedroot tries to transition to a quantity of rot.</strong></p> <p><strong>This has been fixed in version 1.0.1, so please upgrade!</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h4>Version 1.1.0</h4> <p><br />-adjust patching code to handle new pot types(colours) introduced in 1.21.x</p> <h3>If you like this mod then <a href="https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/user/e6086f78e5ce09378fcd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">check out my other ones!</a></h3>
